Honestly — about everything that concerns you first
We grouped the questions by topic. If yours is not here — write to info@yourhelpfund.org.ua, and we will respond within 2 business days.
Donations and reporting
We publish quarterly reports with a list of all expenditure items and the signature of the person in charge. Separately, we publish a seasonal photo report from the program. If you donated $100+, we will personally write to you to tell you which race and which group your contribution went to.
Yes. After a donation of more than 500 UAH, you receive an electronic receipt with the foundation’s details. For legal entities, we provide a contract/acceptance document package. Tax documents for deduction (if you are in Ukraine) are available upon separate request.
It is very important. Twenty people on $5 means one child per week. Charity is not about «sponsors with money», but about all of us who are not ready to leave this war on the shoulders of children.
Yes — with materials (school supplies, art kits, seasonal clothing for children, hygiene products), services (logistics, design, medical care, legal support). Write to info@yourhelpfund.org.ua, and we’ll coordinate.
Not yet. We are working on it, but we do not want to run a crypto channel without full compliance and transparent reporting. Email us if this matters to you — we are keeping a list for a future launch.
About the children and the program
We work with local social services, schools, and psychologists. Priority is given to children who lost parents or loved ones during the war, or who live under constant stress. All children go through a preliminary psychological assessment.
8–16 years old. This is the range where trauma is already visible, but the mind is still flexible enough for deep work.
4–6 camp sessions per year in Chernivtsi region, plus individual therapeutic work during the off-season. The next season is May–September: we publish the full schedule in February.
Yes. Every child stays in touch with a mentor, and for those who need it — weekly online sessions with a psychologist. Many children return for another camp session the following year.
Write to info@yourhelpfund.org.ua — briefly describe the situation. Our coordinator will get in touch and discuss the next steps. If you are a social service or a school, we are open to cooperation.
Volunteering
Yes, if you have experience working with children, psychological training, or are ready to complete our intensive "Mentor" program. Volunteer mentors go through a 3-day briefing and take a group for the entire season — it is a serious commitment.
Volunteering is unpaid. We cover travel, meals, and accommodation during the camp session. Professional specialists (staff psychologists and art therapists) are paid.
A mentor lives with the group for the entire week of the camp session. The work rhythm is alternating with a partner, with mandatory evening supervision with a psychologist. Actual time "with the group" is 10–12 hours a day.
